Megan Venn-Wycherley

HCI and Computing Education Researcher

My website is still under construction, but here's a little introduction

My name is Megan and I'm an educator and researcher in computer science education and human-computer action based in the North East of England. I have been involved in the design and delivery of computing education from Primary to Higher Education, from first steps to complex systems.

I aim to encourage disadvantaged young people to explore their passion for technology, working with Altitude Foundation to provide encounters with role models, careers experience and access to exciting, new technologies

Through my academic research at Open Lab, Newcastle University, I aim to explore how we formulate meaningful university-school partnerships for computing education, and understand how digital technologies can support the creation, facilitation and maintenance of these relationships.
