Hi there!
I am a researcher based at Swansea Universityspecialising in the intersection of computing education and social mobility, with an interest in exploring the role that universities and technologies can play in facilitating these processes.
My current research looks to explore the following questions:
- What is the relationship between social mobility and computing education?
- What is the role of the university in the support of computing education, particularly in disadvantaged communities?
I am part of the Education, History and Philosophy Research Group based at Swansea University. I am also the EDI Lead for the Department of Computer Science, as well as part of our departmental Open Day team. I am module coordinator for Computers Unplugged, and support our BSc Digital Technology.

Public Engagement
I am dedicated to linking academia with the wider, local community to share knowledge, encourage meaningful conversations, and contribute to the community. Through previous experience as the Programme Manager of Altitude Foundation, my experience lies in creating exciting, hands-on experiences to engage young people with STEM skills. I continue to support Altitude in a voluntary capacity.
